Didi Cardoso PR Manager
& Editor-in-Chief
Location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
Systems Owned: 3DO, Atari 2600, Dreamcast, Genesis, NES, SNES, Sega Saturn, Sega CD, GBA SP, Nintendo DS, PC, PS2, PSP, PS3, Xbox, Xbox360, Wii
Favorite games/genre: I have way too many favorites. The Witcher, Rock Band, Indigo Prophecy, Guitar Hero, EverQuest, Crazy Taxi, Soul Calibur, Record of Lodoss War, Shining Force III, Still Life, The Sims and RCT series... Favorite genres are puzzles, RPGs, action/RPGs and micromanagement, though I'll pretty much play anything as long as the story and gameplay interest me.

Bio: GrrlGamer was my big chance to combine two things I love, games and writing. I've stuck with it ever since and don't regret it one bit. It's very rewarding to see the site as it is now. I love everything I do regarding Grrlgamer, from playing games to writing reviews, recruit writers, PR, and of course, taking care of SimGrrl. The busier I am, the happier I feel! Other than that, I am a Portuguese interpreter/translator and enjoy knitting, baking, spending time with my husband (usually playing games!) and cats.

Brandy Shaul PR Associate
Location: Muncie, Indiana
Systems Owned: Dreamcast, GameBoy, GameBoy Micro, GameCube, GameGear, Intellivision, NES, Nintendo DS, PC, PS1, PS2, PS3, SNES, Super Video Arcade, Wii
Favorite games/genre: I play a little bit of everything, with RPG's, platformers, and racers (in the vein of Need for Speed) being specific weaknesses of mine.

Bio: I was raised on my grandmother's Intellivision in the late 80's, and my love for all things gaming grew exponentially from there. I'm your typical geek, content to spend hours either playing a video game or watching TV (anything from the science fiction or reality genres tend to be my downfall), listening to music, or even indulging in my one stereotypically female hobby: shopping (I can smell a bargain a mile away).

Minna Kim Mazza Technical Director
& Advertising Manager
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Systems Owned: GBA SP, iPhone, Mac, N64, Nintendo DS, PC, PS2, PSP, SNES, Wii
Favorite games/genre: Strategy sim and logic games, MMORPGs, and on occasion the over-the-top fighter arcade games. I also like silly little puzzle games that drive most people nuts, especially to pass the time on my work commute into downtown Chicago.

Bio: I'm a Web designer, programmer, etc. you name it. I love creating Web sites especially for small companies launching their first very own Web site. So for GrrlGamer I have the same approach - though it's my own design and I don't have to approve it with clients! I've been with GrrlGamer since around 1998 and helped redesign the site in 2002. I freelance as a Web designer, Blue Agate, to pay the bills and game subscriptions. Aside from playing video games, I also enjoy cooking, shopping, and spending quality time with the husband, dog, and my new baby boy-gamer!

Nikki Douglas Founder
Location: South Florida
Systems Owned: GBA, PC, PS2, PSP
Favorite games/genre: RPG almost exclusively but also like Action/Adventure, FPS & simulation games like Sim City and The Sims.

Bio: I started GrrlGamer.com in 1996 as a column on my first website RiotGrrl.com. The column, where I could review games from the female point of view, was the first of its kind anywhere and the first indicator on the Internet that gamers did indeed include women & girls. The column became GrrlGamer.com, the very first website about computer and video gaming for women, that was also written and produced solely by women. Now 10 years later, GrrlGamer has helped shape the computer and video games industry by continuing to support, nurture and celebrate the fabulous female gamer! For me personally, GrrlGamer is strictly a labor of love that I share with my gamer sisters Minna & Didi. Everything that this site is today I owe to them and their persistence of vision that has kept us going even through the most difficult times. I may have birthed this baby grrl, but they have raised her! This is my generation's truest art form and I plan on being a part of it until they call me GrannyGrrl!

Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Systems Owned:Dreamcast, GameBoy Micro, GameCube, GBA, Nintendo DS, PC, PS1, PS2, PSP, PS3, PSX, Xbox 360, Wii
Favorite games/genre: My number one choice is Japanese RPGs, 99% of what I buy falls into this category. However, I do like to kick back with a bit of Mario Kart, platform games like Sonic, or puzzle up with Tetris. I find myself very amused with Wii Sports as well. I can't choose just one favorite game, since there are many that I love.

Favorite games/genre: My favorite game of all time is Zelda: A Link to the Past. I also enjoy RPGs such as Fable II, Puzzle Quest, Final Fantasy I and MMOs like Warhammer, as well as puzzle games such as Tetris and Peggle. I play real-time and turn-based strategy games every now and then, too, and sometimes even a rhythm game like Rock Band 2.

Megan Parker
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Systems Owned: GameBoy, GameCube, GBA SP, Nintendo DS, PC, PS2, PSX, Sega Genesis, Xbox, Xbox 360
Favorite games/genre: Nothing has captured my attention and has had me obsessed more than Knights of the Old Republic. As for genre, I would have to pick the RPG.

Rebecca Wigandt
Location: Queens, New York
Systems Owned: PC, PS2, Xbox 360
Favorite games/genre: RPGs, sim/city/civ games, military strategy, racers, more or less in that order. Great characters, depth of story, and immersion are top priorities for me to sink my teeth into a game. I've come to really enjoy Rock Band and the like, and even fighters these days for the social factor. I'm a long time fan of the Final Fantasy, Elder Scrolls, Fallout and The Sims series, and have hoarded pretty much every volume/expansion of those titles I can get my hands on!
